Maple-Spice Oatmeal的做法步骤图

用料  

rolled oats 1 cup
water 3/4 cups
nonfat milk 3/4 cups
salt Pinch
ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoons
pure maple syrup 1 teaspoons

Maple-Spice Oatmeal的做法  

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the oats, water, milk, and salt to a rolling boil over high heat.

  2. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.

  3. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cinnamon and maple syrup. Let the oatmeal stand for 2 minutes before serving.

小贴士

SUBSTITUTION TIP: If you like raisins in your oatmeal, you can add 2 tablespoons when you add the syrup and cinnamon. However, don’t do this during the initial two weeks, and make sure raisins aren’t a personal acid reflux trigger.
